Regional employment centres (RAV)
What are RAV?
Regional employment centres (RAVs) are offices that specialise in the labour market, job placement and unemployment. Currently there are about 130 RAVs, which is the largest job placement network in Switzerland.
Whether you are an employer with vacancies to fill or you are unemployed and looking for work, you should contact your nearest RAV.

You're looking for a job
Your RAV adviser will let you know the various options open to you (self-service terminal in the RAVs, employment exchanges on the internet etc.). You will be given lots of tips and all the assistance you need. The RAVs run a job vacancy database which gives you access to one of the largest and most up-to-date employment exchanges in Switzerland.
You are unemployed
You can benefit from your adviser's knowledge of the issues regarding unemployment. Your adviser will support you during your period of unemployment and suggest ways of reintegrating into the labour market.
You are an employer
RAVs are the place to go if you are looking for staff. You just need to contact your nearest RAV in your area and give your adviser a profile of the kind of person you are looking for. You can also advertise your job online on our website or look in our database for prospective candidates.
Who says looking for staff is an administrative nightmare? "Simplicity and efficiency" are the order of the day!
