The Swiss Labour Market Authority is responsible for the implementation of the Employment Services Act and the Unemployment Insurance Act. Its partners in carrying out these tasks are the cantons, the regional employment centres, the logistical centres for labour market measures and the unemployment funds. Totally in line with its motto "Focussing on work", the Swiss Labour Market Authority, together with its partners, is fighting unemployment. It ensures a reasonable replacement income and endeavours to reintegrate jobseekers into the labour market in the shortest possible time. In the process it seeks out and promotes collaboration between institutions involved with the labour market. It safeguards employees in the temporary and interim employment area.
